Today I posted the first tutorial in my new series that takes a quick and simple look at mastering using real-life tracks made by my viewers.

I have midterms for the next two weeks, so I'm going to be putting music on the back-burner.

It's ok though, don't fret. I have two electro house tracks that hit pretty hard. One's kinda like Dada Life, but with a little more guitarish sounding synths, I think it sounds better ;). I'll let them cook for a while then release them when midterms are over.

I might release some tutorials though, they're easier to make.

So the Above and Beyond remix that I was going to do is due today and I really like this complextro track that I'm making. The vocals are not really suited for complextro so I'm going to try and redo the entire remix today in a more trance or electro style.

I also have to study... *sigh* not enough time in a day :(

Remix is due tomorrow. Finally got the basic layers of the track done.

It's really rough, totally different than what I've done in the past.

I would love to finish it, but I have an 8:00am class I have to go to... sleepy time zzzzzz

Alrighty then...

Woke up early, finished my stats homework and then took a nap. Aforementioned nap took 2 hours...

Tried to work on a remix, but wasn't feeling it. Ate some food and tried again... Still unable to produce something that I like. Oh the perils of music production.

I'll try again tomorrow, maybe in the morning I can get my mind working straight. I really want to post music more often after the success of last week's video.
